Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star
Hotels) in February 2011 reached 40.48%, down 2.22% compared to January 2011
which was recorded at 42.70. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung in February
2011 reached 54.87 percent, an increase of 2.59 percent compared to January
2010 which was recorded at 52.28 percent. When compared to February 2010 which
was recorded at 47.21 percent, the ROR for February 2011 experienced an
increase of 7.67 percent due to the addition of 2 hotels. ROR for other
accommodation (non-star hotels) in February 2011 reached 35.64%, down 0.71%
compared to January 2011, namely 36.35%.
The number of guests staying in February 2011, in star
and non-star hotels (combined) was 78,080 people, consisting of 362 foreign
guests and 77,718 domestic guests, down 102 people compared to January 2011,
which was recorded at 78,182 people. The decline occurred due to a decrease in
domestic guests of 254 people, while foreign guests actually increased by 152
people. The number of guests at star hotels reached 9,109 people, namely 269
foreign guests and 8,840 domestic guests. This number decreased by 10.11
percent compared to the number of guests in January 2011 which reached 10,133
people. This decline occurred in 1, 2 and 3 star hotels, while there was not
much change in 4 and 5 star hotels, an increase of only 2 people. When compared
to February 2010, the number of overnight guests increased by 16.02 percent.
This is due to an increase in the number of guests at 1, 2, 4 and 5 star
hotels, while there has been a decline in 3 star hotels. The number of guests
staying in other accommodation (non-star hotels) in February 2011 reached
68,971 people, 93 foreign guests and 68,878 domestic guests, an increase of 922
people compared to January 2011 which was recorded at 68,049 people. This
increase occurred due to an increase in hotel guests, both foreign and
domestic.
